Over the last three years Myrtle Lofts have sent three small shipments of pigeons into North America and they have already shown some outstanding results for different fanciers who have raced these bloodlines. Because of the result of these achievements we have started receiving many e-mails requesting information on our birds from the U.S.A fanciers. Unfortunately due to the large demand for our birds here in the U.K. plus orders from other countries including Taiwan, Japan, South Africa, Australia and the rest of Europe it is almost becoming impossible to keep shipping our birds to America year after year.
We would like very much for our bloodlines to achieve results over in the U.S.A to the same impacted as they have in our own country, but without our birds been circulated throughout America this would become impossible. With this in mind I have offered our very good friend John Marles a partnership at his own loft in North America. We are please to announce John as accepted our offer, so we will be shipping 34 pigeons over to John’s loft this year 2005 which will be direct children from all our champion breeders, many of them are parents to four, five and six generations of winners. These birds will be added to John’s already successful team of breeders, including birds he as already obtained from us over the last few years. Out of these birds John will keep the first round of youngsters each year for his own race loft and then we will offer the next few rounds to the American fancier. With this opportunity it gives Myrtle Lofts the chance to fulfil another of our dreams in breeding as many champions in the U.S.A as we have here in the U.K.
This new endeavour will provide me with the opportunity to race the same birds that Mark, Dick and their partners are having such amazing success with in Great Britain. I am looking forward to not only a productive partnership, but more so to a continuing and lasting friendship. John Marles
