Death of the Legend “CHAMPION SHADOW”

Death of the Legend “CHAMPION SHADOW” Belg.95.3211313 at the staggering age of 21 years old.

It is with great sadness that I announce the death of the World Famous Icon and Legend. One of the world’s most phenomenal pigeons to have ever lived.

“Champion Shadow” was bred by Gaby Vandenabeele in March 1995 and was purchased at only 4 weeks old by Mark Evans (M & D. Evans) from the famous Myrtle Lofts.  “Champion Shadow” passed away today 28th April 2016. He died peacefully with Mark by his side in the loft at his home in Snaith, East Yorkshire. England. “Champion Shadows” offspring have made well in excess of £1milloin in prize money and sales over the years.

To have lived to the age of 21 is utterly outstanding but to own such an extensive breeding and winning record surely places “CHAMPION SHADOW” in a league of his own.  Without a doubt “Champion Shadow” possessed a rare combination of winning genetics, and shall hold a place in racing and breeding history.

Thank you to all “Champion Shadow” fans, supporters, and clients over the past 21 years.  The legend will live on through his children and always in our hearts.

Regards Mark Evans.
